Camera Work
To open the scene, they use an extreme long shot however it is more of an establishing shot. Then when the camera boards the train, there is a close up of Harry Potter and then a close up of Ron asking Harry if he can sit with him. The camera shot when they both introduce each other is medium close up. Later on, they use a tilt movement showing the wide variety of sweets available on the trolley. Harry feeling sorry for Ron, buys the whole cart of food. To follow that shot, is a medium two person shot of the boys eating their sweets.
Sound
The opening part to this scene had the exciting theme song of Harry Potter which introduces a significant part of the series, where Ron and Harry meet for the first time. Its is non diegetic scene because the music is being played over the recording of the clip. This non diegetic sounds creates a mood. The dialogue between the two characters is amplified over the sound of the train.
Editing
The opening 15 seconds show different perspectives of the train giving us different ways to view the journey they embarking on. The scene cuts from Harry to Ron a lot of the time, this could be signify that they two characters are the main characters.
Lighting
They would of used lighting in this scene to make it look natural outside of the train because they would of been using a green screen to make it look like they are actually on a moving train. I think they would of used frontal lighting to make the train look as natural as possible with its surroundings.
This is the matrix interrogation scene. Its genre is science fiction, I know this because science fiction films are generally built with tension and the high pitch sound to open the clip is very tense. It also contains other inventions of sci-fi films like the futuristic feel.
The scene is opens up to a set of monitors watching a person. The camera then moves in on 1 monitor to it then moving into the room. Once in the room, a man enters with a folder with two guards all dressed the same way walking behind Mr Anderson. The interrogation then begins when the interrogator, Agent Smith, opens the folder.
There is a lot of tension in this clip. By Agent Smith having glasses on, it creates a very secretive mood which also creates tension.
Camera work
The scene is opened up with a shot of cctv cameras which show a high angle view of Mr Anderson The movement of the camera zooms in on 1 monitor which is swaying side to side. A high angle shot is shown when the interrogators enter the room giving us a perspective of the room. We then see a medium close up shot of Agent Smith with glasses sitting down at the table. Moving onto the folder, we see a close up of the folder being unfolded with creates tension as it takes a few seconds to unfold. Back to a medium close up of the man flicking through pages of the folder to then us hearing the first words of the scene. The scene shows close ups of both character when they are both talking. This is similar to the Harry Potter scene when Ron and Harry are talking to each other.
Sound
There is not much sound in this scene. We can hear very slightly the sound the breathing of Agent Smith and the rustling of clothes.
Editing
There is a lot of edits of scenes when the Mr Anderson is being interrogated by Agent Smith and the camera is moving back and forth between the two however there isn't very much besides that.
Lighting
The lighting is this scene is quite dark. This creates tension. It also seems to have a greenish tint over the clip making me believe more that it is a science fiction.
