Film Shooting Day 2

Here is a picture of Katie and i setting up the tripod. In the background is towan beach. This is the beach which we filmed on.
The first shooting day consisted of Katie using a steadicam to film around the shop and outside. This time we took a dolly and a tripod. We using the dolly when we were inside the new shop we used. This made it easier for Katie to move around to move around while keeping it at the height we wanted. Also whilst we were in the shop, we prepared tags to use instead of graphics as this made it look more professional. Outside of the shop, we took extra shots, like the pan of the sea when we were on the beach. We also had the idea of writing our title name 'Surfing School' in the sand, with the intention of waves to go over it. This was a struggle on the day as when i wrote the title, the wet sand made it hard to see it. It was also too large for the camera to fit it in. We had the idea of a birds eye shot, this basically impossible with what we had.
