This is one of the best student crime films I have seen produced by pupils in KS5 and both group members deserve praise for their hard work creating this moving film. Samuel worked in a group to create this short film, in terms of his role within the group Samuel was primarily responsible for editing, set design, costumes/props and sound but also took turns with some some directing and filming. Through this film Samuel demonstrate excellence in the creative use of most of the following technical skills: • shooting material appropriate to the task set; including controlled use of the camera, attention to framing, variety of shot sizes and close attention to mise en scene • editing so that meaning is apparent to the viewer and making selective and appropriate use of shot transitions, captions and other effects • recording and editing sound with images appropriately.
