Dead Pool Title Sequence Analyse:
The film DeadPool is about mercenary man called Wade Wilson who is a former special forces operative. An evil scientist tortures and refigures him into who we know as Deadpool. This changes him not for all the bad. He gets an increase in humour and with accelerated healing powers. However all this nearly took his life so he was looking for revenge. The film was released in 2016 and has an age certificate of 15.
It is an ......... opening.
This title sequence is a comedy towards other action movie.
In the title sequence to DeadPool, there is a non diegetic song played over a freeze framed scene of a car crash. Over than the lyrics of the song, there is no narrative in the clip. In the title sequence the characters are freeze framed so there is no movement of the characters. However, the camera movement gives us many views and angles of the scene giving us different interpretations There is one setting established which is the car crash. There is also 6 characters established which appears they are having a fight between the two however we don't know who is who. We see the main character Deadpool.
As said previous, there is defiantly two sides of the battle here, the good and the bad. However we do not know who is who.

Deadpool is an action, comedy film. In the title sequence, we start the titles with a man that has his mouth open. The camera zooms out in a tilt which tells me something isn't right. There is a funny aspect to it as his facial expression is funny. The camera then travels through a cup lid showing the coffee and the cup. The cup has the name Rob very clearly written on it which could signify that he is an important character or it is there for the comedy part of it. While zooming out still, we see flying pieces of glass then to zoom out onto a magazine. The magazine is very comical because it says 'sexiest man alive' on the front of it. It is funny because the picture on the front is of the main actor in the movie, Ryan Reynolds. Another comical aspect of the title sequence is the titles. They start of normal then to turn into a description. 'starring, gods perfect idiot' and ' a british idiot'. This signifies to me the film is going to be really funny throughout.

Toy Story:
Toy story is about cartoon toys coming to life when there owner isn't around. Everything is going good, there owner (Andy) is playing with them until Buzz Lightyear believes he has crashed onto a alien planet. However, he has just be moved from the shelf in a toy store. Andy starts to play with buzz more than he plays with woody which scares him. He could be put away and not played with again. Can buzz and woody play nicely?

In the opening of the title sequence, Woody is laying on the floor. Because he is the first character we see, it kind of signifies that he is the or a main character in the film. The first title we see of Walt Disney Pictures, which tells me it has potential to be a great film. I can also tell by the start of this title sequence that it is going to be aimed at children because of a cartoon character and the Walt Disney productions. Over the top the film, the song 'you've got a friend in me' is being played non dietetically.

The next character we meet Andy, a child, and he is the owner of all the toys. We know he is young because as he is playing with his toys, he is talking to them. Other instances of Andy being young is his imagination. He has cardboard boxes with drawing of places on them.

The film name 'Toy Story' then shown is in big bold lettering with a cloudy sky wallpaper background. The blue is a very light blue with has a conation of fun and happy.

Throughout the opening of it we see other characters such as a piggy bank, dog, spaceman and a cowboy. This also tells me he loves a variety of toys also signifying that he is a fun child.  The sound we hear in the title sequence, other than the song, is Andy speaking and Woody when his string is being pulled.

As the film goes on, you can see that the genre is manly adventure. I would also say the sub genre is family. This is because Andy and the toys are almost like family. They do oeverything together. The adventure isn't clear at the start of the film but it turns out to happen in every movie.

The first words we hear is Andy telling woody that he is his favourite deputy. Woodys cord then tells Andy he is his partner. This also tells me of there friendship anf family kind of status. The non diegetic music over the top playning is' you've got a friend in me' which again shows the relation between the two characters.

Napoleon Dynamite:

The napoleon dynamite opening scene is very clever. It tells the audience of what genre it is going to be while also being creative at the same time. I know of what genre it is going to be because of the use of food. The food conveys the information in the mise-en-scene to show a more lighthearted movie. This most likely means a comedy. 

The food could looks like the general uni life food. Telling me we could be dealing with a 19-24 year old man as the main character. Other than the food which is a clever way to tell the titles, he uses his student ID and his library card. He also shows his Alien card which connatates me a more nerdy kind of character.

By him having a student card, this tells me it could based in a high school or university. The food also signifies to me that it is based pm high school.

The non diegetic music being played tells us it is a comedy aswell as the lighting of the food. The camera is in a stationary position with plates of foods being placed onto the scene. The camera shot is close up. The editing is a jump cut from scene to scene. This makes it easier to follow. As for the characters, you can not see much of them. You only seen one on the student card, which could be telling us he is the main character.
