Teen Comedy:

Narrative and Representations:

For the plot of a teen comedy, I think they are set manly in a school or places of social gatherings so it can be relatable to the audience making the jokes funnier. In comedies, the camera work is mostly naturalistic and it is filmed in a way where no one is shown to be more superior than other. 

Media Language:(camerawork, editing, mise-en-scene, graphics)

Because our film is about surfing and school, we would include school equipment and surf equipment in the mise en scene. 

Music and Sound notes:

In teen films, the sound is most likely going to be the top of the pops songs as we are focusing on a female teen comedy. However we do not want to completely exclude males so we will have songs of both genders popularity.
